The Easiest Way to Make Movies to Increase Creativity

If you have never had your students make movies before, this is the perfect way to get started, it is the easiest way to have students make movies! All you need to do is insert pictures into Slides and use a tool called Screencastify to record voice narration over it. Use this as a way for students to bring their creative writing to life or to explain a concept they just learned. As if that weren’t enough, you will also learn how to make stop motion animation movies using Slides. This session is great for all grade levels and all subjects.

Take Your Movies to the Next Level

Using Adobe Spark, you can make very professional looking movies where static images have a bit of movement to them, you can insert video clips, add background music and more. Use an existing template designed to help students tell a hero’s journey, promote an idea, teach a lesson or start from scratch, allowing for the ultimate in creativity. Older students can film on their phones and upload to Adobe Spark which allows for the video to be cropped. If you have never made a movie before, this is an easy tool to use but allows students to take their movie making to the next level. *Students over 13 log in using their existing school Google account while students under 13 would have to use the Education version (both versions are free) which would require the District to push it out to students.
